Lyn’s Website

Lyn is a retired teacher and principal. She resumed painting in 2008 after a 35 year hiatus spent pursuing her career and raising her family.

Lyn’s first interest in art came through her father, Donald Campbell, a “renaissance man” who had a Major in Chemistry and a Minor in Fine Art from McGill University.

Since resuming painting, Lyn has continued taking art classes through the Garibaldi Art Club.

A large number of Lyn’s canvases feature images from several trips to Ukraine. Others celebrate landscapes from many locations, people, animals, buildings and even automobiles.

Lyn works in oil and watercolour, and has begun exploring pastels. Her style ranges from realist to impressionist depending on the subject matter.
